Kanye West Ranked as “2026’s Most Canceled Celebrity” in New Study
Kanye West continues making headlines across music, fashion, and social media. However, controversy still follows the rapper everywhere. A new study from JB.com now ranks the Grammy-winning artist as the most canceled celebrity of 2026.
The report examined negative media coverage, lawsuits, and online discussions surrounding major public figures. According to the findings, Kanye received nearly 68 million negative headlines, placing him above every celebrity included in the study.
Researchers linked much of the backlash to controversial remarks Kanye made in late 2022 and early 2026. Those statements sparked criticism across entertainment platforms and social media communities. Along with that, the report pointed toward more than 25 lawsuits tied to the rapper over recent years.
Online conversations also played a major role in the ranking. Reddit users discussed Kanye’s controversies nearly 95,000 times, showing how divided public opinion remains around the artist.
Even though Kanye still attracts loyal fans, many critics continue challenging his public behavior and comments.
Elon Musk and Amber Heard Follow Behind

Instagram | ruote_in_pista | Elon Musk is the world’s second most canceled star, fueled by X and his politics.
The study also named Elon Musk as the second most canceled celebrity in mainstream culture. Researchers highlighted criticism tied to his leadership of X, formerly Twitter, as well as political remarks that fueled public backlash.
Meanwhile, Amber Heard ranked third because of continuing discussions surrounding her legal dispute with Johnny Depp. Depp himself landed in fourth place, although public support for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor improved after the highly publicized trial.
Public opinion shifts rapidly in today’s digital world. Social media platforms now shape celebrity reputations faster than traditional media ever could. While controversy can damage careers, some public figures still manage to rebuild their image over time.
For now, Kanye West remains at the center of one of entertainment’s biggest debates, and conversations around his reputation show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
